Vizhippom Vaa – World First AIDS Awareness Music Video in Tamil Set to Release on December 1st 2019!

In conjunction with the global HIV/AIDS awareness campaign, KS MOVIE SDN. BHD. bringing the world's first HIV/AIDS awareness music video in Tamil.

Despite HIV / AIDS awareness campaigns being conducted worldwide, according to the World Health Organization's report, thousands of new people are infected with HIV every year. Healthcare organisations across the country are taking various steps to prevent and raise awareness of HIV/AIDS.

KS Movie Sdn. Bhd. is collaborating with the Malaysian AIDS Council and Ministry of Health Malaysia on making the video song “Vizhippom Vaa” and it has been chosen as their official awareness AIDS song in Tamil. Malaysian AIDS Council has given their full support for “Vizhippom Vaa” which means 'Let’s Stay Awake'.

The song was initiated and penned by Lyricist Phoenix Dassan. Music composed by Balan Raj, music arrangement by M Jagathees, vocals by BalanRaj, M Jagathees, Hamsni Perumal, Vikadakavi Mahen, Produced by M.S Kalai (MSK Film Production). The music video concept was developed by the director Saradha Sivalingam Kalai along with DOP Udayakumaran and editor Mitchell R.Chantheran. 

The video features Vicky Rao, Jissimran Kaur, Sarala Venusundaram and Moon Nila. They have played key roles in the music video to raise awareness of AIDS among the public especially youth. 

Initially, ‘Vizhippom Vaa’ audio was officially released on THR Raaga Radio on the eve of World AIDS Day on December 1, 2017, and recognised as the official campaign song of the Malaysian AIDS Council.

Now, the music video is set to release on December 1 in conjunction with the World AIDS Day at KUALA LUMPUR GSC NU SENTRAL from 1 pm – 3 pm in the presence of Malaysia’s top celebrities.
