Looks like the latest internet craze is a good one.. ladies and gentleman, introducing... The Bottle Cap Challenge. What is it exactly and is it any good?
Yes, actually... it's actually very impressive if you can get it right. The challenge was started by Taekwondo instructor and fighter Farabi Davletchin on Instagram, after which it was picked up by reigning UFC Featherweight champ Max Holloway, whose video made it viral.
Holloway then challenged music artist John Mayer, who surprised the Internet with a kick that would make any athlete proud. How do you play it?
It's so simple and incredibly hard at the same time. You need to unscrew the cap on a bottle using your feet... Bruce Lee style. Yup, some martial arts skill is needed and the bottle has to remain standing upright all the time.
It was when Jason Statham showed off his skills when the stars in India decided that they needed to join in too.
First to answer was Akshay Kumar who said he couldn't resist it because his 'action idol' Statham inspired him to do it. The actor is known for his strict fitness regime and dedication to working out - no wonder he had to come on board. Akshay even asked his followers to try it too, and that he would repost and retweet the best videos.
Action King, Arjun Sarja, has now shown that it was a piece of cake for him, even dedicating his attempt to Bruce Lee and his fans.
Check out his Instagram to see his killer move. It is captioned as @arjunsarjaa ACTION KING FOR A REASON ?? #BottleCapChallenge #ActionKing @jasonstatham
Arjun' last film "Kolaigaran" with Vijay Antony became a massive hit and the veteran action hero is currently shooting his latest film, "Hero" starring Sivakarthikeyan.
Other Indian stars who have so far tried it is "Gully Boy" actor Siddhant Chaturvedi who then challenged actor Ishaan Khatter to try the same. American DJ Diplo, Irish boxer and MMA champ Conor McGregor and English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding are some of the other popular names to have tried out the challenge so far.
