At the time when things are getting back to normalcy around the globe, the emergent of Omicron and other new variants have increased the infection rate. Following the drastic infection in India, the government is implementing lockdown in several states.

Now Kollywood hero Arun Vijay has taken social media to inform others that he has been tested positive for Covid-19 and currently undergoing home quarantine with safety protocols as per the doctor's advice.

Many actors from the film industry was tested positive for the virus and recovered and this includes Kamal Haasan, Vikram, and Vadivelu. Meanwhile, prominent artists such as SP Balasubramamiam and master Sivasankar has lost their life after diagnosed with the coronavirus.
