Arya is one of the leading actors in Tamil cinema. His performance in the recently-released Sarpatta Parambarai was critically acclaimed and received an overwhelming response from the audience.

Unexpectedly, a Srilankan woman residing in Germany referred to as Vidja lodged an alleged cheating case on Arya. The police got into action immediately and found two men who were impersonating Arya to extort money from the woman.

The issue seemed like it came to an end when the men were arrested recently. Arya took to his social media to thank the police and revealed his mental trauma during the investigation.

However, Vidja's lawyer revealed that she has spoken to Arya via video call and has sent a request to the CEO of Whatsapp to get a screenshot of their video conversation.

According to some sources, Arya met the Police Commissioner of Chennai once again to explain his side of the story since Vidja is not backing down and accuses Arya of cheating her.
