Actor Uday Kiran is an award-winning actor who got the debut of dreams in Kollywood. His first film 'Poi' was with the legendary director K. Balachander. But the film did poorly and didn't give him the career launch he expected.

Before entering into the Tamil cinema scene, Uday first tried his luck in the Telugu cinema and acted in a few films like Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, and Manasantha Nuvvu. All three films became a series of hits, and he was even called the 'Hat-trick Hero' after continuous success.

His career seemed promising, and the actor even got engaged to Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha in 2003. However, the good times didn't last. His engagement ended for unknown reasons, and film offers started to decline. The actor even tried to establish his own production in Tamil which failed.

In 2012, he got married Vishitha. His final hope in redeeming his career came in the form of a film called 'Chitram Cheppina Katha' directed by Mohan Alrk. But he died by suicide on 5 January 2014 and the film never released.

Before his death, Uday was said to be suffering from depression for almost a year because of the financial crisis he faced. He was only 33 years old.

At that time, rumors were rife that some powerful families in the Telugu industry didn't allow him to succeed in the industry. Now, his final wish might come true as OTT platforms are exhibiting interest in releasing the film after Sushant Singh Rajput's recent death.

We hope the wishes of this unfortunate soul will become a reality soon.
