Raghava Lawrence is a prominent dance choreographer, who turned into a successful actor and filmmaker. The actor is well known for his successful horror-comedy venture - the 'Kanchana' trilogy. Lawrence also turned into one of the highest-paid directors after remaking his Tamil blockbuster film in Hindi as 'Laxmmi Bomb' with actor Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Besides his popularity in Kollywood as an actor, filmmaker, and dance master, Raghava Lawrance is also a well-known philanthropist. The actor is running a trust under his mother's name that cares for hundreds of orphaned children, as well as consistently makes generous contributions to noble causes - especially during natural calamities and disasters.

Now the actor has received international recognition for his generosity from the International Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Council. The actor shared pictures of his mother Kanmani who received the prestigious award on his behalf with a caption that reads: "It is a great honour for me to receive the doctorate award for social service. Heartfelt thanks to International Anti-corruption and Human Rights Council for honouring me with this award. It’s special to me because my mother received this award on behalf of me."
