Actor Silambarasan, or STR, is dubbed as Kollywood's 'King of Controversies'. He's been at the center of media attention for many scandalous issues.

In the past few years, his films flopped, and some of his directed accused the actor of commitment issues. In August 2017, the actor retrieved himself from social media to avoid negativity.

After his comeback in 2020, the actor has been making waves for his complete transformation. Physically, he is slimmer and fitter. Professionally, there hasn't been any complaints about his work. He is also very active on social media.

Recently, his Instagram account hit the 1-million follower mark and to commemorate the achievement, Simbu posted a throwback selfie with his fans at a college event in Chennai.
