Mugen Rao is a singer and actor based in Malaysia who got his big break after taking part in the third season of Bigg Boss. He's the first Malaysian participant of Bigg Boss and he has created history by becoming the champion.

Despite initially being a lesser noticed contestant, the tide of the show changed in Mugen’s favor during the Golden Ticket tasks. He was finally in the game and seen as a force to be reckoned with for his sincerity and competitive spirit.

The Bigg Boss title winner landed his first Kollywood movie 'Velan' directed by debutant director Kavin. He's acting with famous artists like Prabhu and Soori in the film.

The teaser of Velan will be released by popular actor Suriya today at 5.30pm. Mugen revealed the news on his Instagram account and admitted that he has always been actor Suriya's fan.
