'Vikram,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring acting powerhouses Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, has garnered a tremendous response from both the public and the critics.

The action-thriller is performing incredibly well at the box office, approaching the Rs 500-crore mark (RM 279,093,621) in its global collection. By mid-June, Vikram has even surpassed Baahubali 2's box office record in Tamil Nadu.

The multi-starrer is also considered Kamal Haasan's epic return to cinema after a hiatus. Along with the trio, Gayathrie Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Maya S. Krishnan, and Vasanthi (Agent Tina) were praised for their performances in the film.

Actor Suriya starred in the cameo role called 'Rolex,' who appears at the film's end. His brief but impactful appearance drew a great deal of attention and was celebrated by his fans.

However, recent reports reveal that Prithviraj was initially approached for the part, but it did not work out due to undisclosed reasons. Suriya joined the film at the last minute, and Kamal appreciated the actor by presenting his own Rolex watch.
