S. Shankar and AR Murugadoss are quite well-known personalities in the entertainment industry as both the directors have given famous box office movies featuring Kollywood's leading artists.

Shankar directed Enthiran and 2.0 with Rajinikanth in the lead, which became one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies of all time. Meanwhile, Murugadoss currently released Rajinikanth's Darbar which was received well among the audiences.

Despite being in the industry for very long, it is now rumoured that Raghava Lawrance, an actor turned director, is receiving a higher salary compared to Shakar and Murugadoss for his next direction.

Raghava Lawrence who turned into a director in 'Kanchana' and its sequels is rumoured to be receiving Rs50 crores for his Kanchana Hindi remake 'Laxmmi Bomb' featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead. That's about twice the amount of what Shankar and Murugadoss received for their hit movies.
