Thalapathy Vijay's most-awaited film 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is all set to hit the theatres on 13th April, in conjunction with the Tamil New Year. Now, days ahead of the slated release, the film has been banned in Kuwait.
It is reported that films that links terrorism to Islam religion are against Kuwait's interest and that might be the reason for the ban on 'Beast'. The plot of the film revolves around terrorists taking over a mall and keeping public hostage, and Vijay plays a spy who goes against the antagonists.
Previously, Dulquer Salmaan starrer 'Kurup' and Vishnu Vishal starrer 'FIR' got banned in several countries due to the portrayal of Islamic terrorism. 'FIR' was even banned in Malaysia. However, there is no such decision against 'Beast' as of now.
