Actress Kanaka was a leading actress in the 80s, who debuted in Kollywood via the hit movie 'Karagattakaran'.

Being a leading actress in the industry for decades, Kanaka last appeared in a Malayalam movie titled 'Ee Mazha Then Mazha' in 2000.

The actress distanced herself from cinema following the demise of her mother, popular actress Devika. Years back, her father claimed that Kanaka was mentally unstable and sick.

But, the actress denied her father's claims and revealed that he has been harassing her and her mother for years. Rumors about the actress undergoing cancer treatment also hit the headlines in 2013, but she denied it as well.

It's been 30 years since her debut as an actress, Kanaka is eager to make a comeback to films. In a new video, Kanaka opened up about that she's willing to learn and adapt herself to the current demands of the film industry.
