Indian actress Kangana Ranaut's multilingual film 'Thalaivii' is all set to hit the theatres on 20th September in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The movie which was supposed to release in April got postponed to September due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now prior to the movie release, both Kangana and the movie's director AL Vijay paid special homage to Chief Ministers MG Ramachandran and Jayalalitha by visiting their memorial in Chennai.

'Thalaivii' is a biopic of actress turned politician Amma Jayalalitha. While controversial actress Kangana plays Jayalalitha in the upcoming movie, prominent actor Arvind Swamy plays the role of legendary actor-politician MGR.

Actress Kangana is currently in Chennai to promote the release of the movie. Check out the video taken during her visit to late CM Jayalalitha's memorial:
