Thala Ajith and Shalini Ajith are one of Kollywood's most famous star couples. They met on the set of their first film together, Amarkalam, and fell in love right away, marrying in 2000. Their love story is epic, to say the least.

Shalini stopped acting after their marriage. She focused on their family life, and the couple is the proud parents of two children, Anoushka and Aadvik. They make it a point to keep their personal lives out of the spotlight, and they seldom attend public events together.
