Saranya Ponvannan

Saranya Ponvannan plays an empathetic, jovial persona in all the roles of a mother in flicks. Although she has played a mother in every movie she has appeared in, the role has always left a lasting impression on the audience such as "VIP," "Ram" and "Kalavaani."



Nadhiya

The 'Poovae Poochudavaa' girl, Nadhiya, has gained notoriety for her timeless beauty and also by playing a single mother in the highly acclaimed film, M Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi, starring Jayam Ravi.




Manorama

Manorama underwent redevelopment throughout the 1980s. She went from being the reigning comedy queen to becoming the go-to actress for every filmmaker looking for an emotional, sappy mother who would put up with anything for the sake of her beloved son(s). One of her heart-tugging performances as a mother in a film was Annamalai.




Radhika

Radhika is renowned for her solemn and imposing role as a mother. She began playing supporting roles in the late 1990s, and her performance in Suryavamsam earned her plaudits and notoriety. Her mother characters in Theri, Thangamagan, and Naanum Rowdy Dhan were more relevant to the audience's younger demographic.



Srividhya

The late Srividya was married in real life but never had children.
