It's going to be a double celebration for Thalapathy Vijay fans across the globe on Tamil New Year as the actor's highly awaited film 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is all set to hit the theatres on the 13th April. Prior to the movie release, the moviegoers got to witness Vijay's exclusive interview after almost a decade, and a recent video of the actor taking the movie crew on a ride in his Rolls Royce went viral online.

However, the excitement of Vijay fans in was Kuwait shortlived after the film got banned in the country for allegedly stereotyping Muslims as terrorists, and for having several dialogues referring to Pakistan. The film revolves around a spy who takes on a group of terrorists that take shoppers hostage during a mall seige, and the film's trailer received rave reviews from fans.

After Kuwait, Qatar has became the second nation to ban the movie due to the portrayal of Islam in a bad light. Meanwhile, the 'Islamist Organisation Tamil Nadu Muslim League' has also sought a ban on the movie for the same reason.
