Actress Laila is an adorable and bubbly actress who was at the peak of her career in the 2000s. She worked with many top heroes such as Ajith, Surya, Prabhu Deva, Vikram, and many more.

In 2006, the actress got married to her long-term boyfriend Mehdi, and left the movie industry. Even though she made guest appearances in several movies, she didn't take up any full-fledged movie until 2019.

The actress is now working on 'Alice', a crime thriller written and directed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Recently, the actress joined an interview session with her two adorable sons where she opened up about career and revealed many interesting things about her life.

In the interview, the actress finally revealed the reason why she didn't act with Thalapathy Vijay despite being in the industry for a decade.

Laila recalled that she supposed to work with Vijay in 'Unnai Ninaithu'. Even though Vijay shoots several songs for the movie initially, he opted out of the movie, and Suriya got the role instead. But after that, the actress didn't get any opportunities to work with Vijay again.
