Mohan was the busiest actor in the 80s and was at the top of his career. The actor was so popular that he released 20 movies in just a year, and was famous as Kollywood's legendary actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.

Sadly, the actor only lasted in the industry for over a decade, and he turned from a big movie sensation into someone the directors and movie casts refused to work with overnight.

It all started with a rumour. While Mohan was busy working on movies, a sudden rumour emerged saying that the star is suffering from AIDS.

Back in the 90s, AIDS was considered to be a highly contagious deadly disease due to the lack of awareness. Thus, the actor stopped getting movie opportunities immediately once the rumours started spreading.

But almost three decades later, the actor opened up and cleared the air saying that the rumour was spread by an actress whose name begins with 'Poo'. He further clarified that he rejected the actress's marriage proposal, and she spread the rumour as an act of revenge.

Now at the age of 64, the actor still looks energetic and healthy. Despite that, the actor is still struggling to make a successful comeback.
