Rajamouli's superhit movie 'Baahubali' and 'Baahubali 2' shattered records after its release, and even exceeded the collection of Superstar Rajinikanth's 100 crore movies.

Among the most important characters in the movie is the role of 'Kattappa', a skillful knight and a loyal servant to the royal family.

Actor Sathyaraj did justice to the character, and was praised for his impeccable acting.

However, in a recent interview, director Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad revealed that the first choice for the role was not Sathyaraj, but Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

But the director unable to cast Sanjay Dutt for the movie as he was in jail then. Thus, Sathyaraj got the role instead.
