The actor first debuted as a child artist in the 70s and has worked on over 60 films in both Tamil and Malayalam movie industries.
Later on, he debuted as a hero in the industry with the name Karan, and he's among the very few actors who simultaneously played hero and villain roles at the same time.
Karan also played many supporting roles in his career to-date.
The actor has also won several awards as a child artist and was honoured with a 'Tamil Nadu State Award' in 2009.
