Aspiring local writers can now participate in the RAAGA ‘Short Story Competition’, in collaboration with the Malaysian Tamil Writers Association for a chance to take home cash prizes.

The competition is open for submissions now until 28 February 2022.

Open to those aged 25 or younger, participants can submit their original short story, between 250 to 300 words long and typed in Tamil, via email to: [email protected].

Successful participants stand a chance to take home their share of RM5,500 in cash.

This includes RM2,000 for the first place, RM1,000 for the second place, RM500 for the third place, and RM100 each for consolation prize winners.

Selected winners will also stand the chance to have their stories aired on radio or published.
