Malaysia’s First-Ever Dedicated Pokémon Channel Comes to Astro

Astro is celebrating 30 years of Pokémon with the launch of the Pokémon Pop-Up Channel (CH 121), the first-ever dedicated Pokémon TV channel, available at no additional cost to all Astro, NJOI and Sooka customers from 1 October to 31 December 2026. The channel will feature over 600 episodes in English dub, giving fans the opportunity to revisit memorable moments from across the Pokémon franchise. Viewers can also stream their favourite episodes anytime via On Demand, Astro GO, and Sooka.
Bringing together three decades of adventures, friendships and memorable moments, the channel offers fans a dedicated destination to journey through the world of Pokémon all over again while introducing a new generation of viewers to the franchise.
Featuring 13 Pokémon series, the channel showcases a curated line-up spanning different eras, including Pokémon: Indigo League, Pokémon: The Johto Journeys, Pokémon the Series: XY, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon and Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series. Episodes will air in chronological order beginning with Season 1, and viewers can look forward to eight new episodes every weekday.
