Bigg Boss fame Meera Mitun is a model and actress who hit the headlines after news of her arrest in Kerala went viral on social media.

Recently, Meera took part in a talk show on YouTube and allegedly made derogatory comments against the Scheduled Caste (SC) community.

Following the viral video, the Cyber Crime Wing Police booked the actress under seven provisions of the IPC and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Meera was summoned for investigation last Thursday, however, Sun News reported that the actress has been arrested by the police earlier today.
