Despite initially being a lesser noticed contestant, the tide of the show changed in Mugen’s favour during the Golden Ticket tasks. He was finally in the game and seen as a force to be reckoned with for his sincerity and competitive spirit.
Even Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan praised the singer after winning the Golden Ticket to the Finale. After the show, Mugen's fans are eager to see him on-screen. As his first Kollywood film, the star signed a film named Vettri with 'Veppam' director Anjana Ali Khan.
Even before the release of Vettri, Mugen has landed another film called Velan by a debutant director Kavin. The film has a star-studded cast of Prabhu, Meenatchi, Soori, Thambi Ramaya and many others.
