Just a day earlier, the actor's wife Saira Banu tweeted that his health was improving and requested fans to pray for his speedy recovery. The mortal remains of the actor will be laid to rest at Juhu Qabarstan at Santacruz Mumbai.
Dilip Kumar, born as Yousuf Khan, leaves behind a legacy of films that spanned six decades and gave Hindi cinema some of its evergreen classics such as Mughal-e-Azam and Devdas.
