Simbu is on a roll! After giving three consecutive hits, the actor has now signed up for his next project with director Desingh Periasam, titled 'STR 48'. Produced by the legendary Kamal Haasan, this upcoming film is sure to take the movie-goers by storm.

Rumours have been flying around social media that Deepika Padukone will be playing the female lead in the upcoming movie 'STR 48'. Although movie makers are yet to confirm if they have approached the actress or not, we can only imagine the dynamic presence she will bring to the silver screen if the news turns out to be true!

Deepika is already a veteran of the Tamil movie industry, having made her debut alongside the legendary Rajinikanth in 'Kochadaiyan'.
