Bigg Boss Mugen Rao is going to be very busy in 2020. After his Bigg Boss victory and fame, the star is unstoppable. He's been getting multiple films and songwriting offers in Kollywood.
The Bigg Boss star has two romantic comedies up his sleeves currently and will start shooting in January 2020. In an interview with The Sun Daily, Mugen explained why he chose light-hearted films as his debut into the Tamil cinema industry.
“So far, I am seen as the good boy next door and these roles will be perfect for me,” he said.
However, he's not brushing aside the idea of acting in roles outside of his image to become a more versatile actor. He finds negative roles as “always interesting and unpredictable”.
At the moment, Mugen wants to concentrate on establishing himself in Kollywood but has no plans to move to India.
“I will never forget Malaysia. This is where I started my career,” he expressed.
Mugen wishes to get a strong footing in Kollywood in order to produce films in Malaysia with local talents. He's also thrilled at the possibility of working in Malay films. Previously, the star appeared in two episodes of a Malay TV cop show called Gerak Khas.
We wish Mugen all the best and can't wait to see him sizzle on-screen as a romantic hero!
