Veteran comedian Pandu has passed away early morning today after battling the coronavirus at a private hospital in Chennai. The cine industry is shocked by the news. He was 74 years old. His wife Kumutha is also critical because of the infection.

As India grapples with the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, many veteran celebrities are dying due to the complications arising from the virus.

Pandu is a famous comedian who often paired up with many legendary comedians like Vadivelu, Senthil, and Goundamani in the 1990s and 2000s.

He is survived by his three sons, Prabhu, Panju, and Pindu. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
