Bigg Boss Tamil S3, India's famous reality TV show, is airing at the moment and Malaysia's favourite contestant, Mugen Rao, has been nominated for elimination this time.

Now, Malaysians are eager to vote for Mugen to ensure he stays in the game, but unfortunately, the voting is not open for anyone outside of India.

Due to ongoing rumours that Malaysians can vote via a miss call method or via downloading the Bigg Boss apps, Astro Ulagam contacted Vijay TV to clarify the issue. A representative of Vijay TV India confirms that viewers outside of India can't cast votes.

The only official app that can be used for voting is 'Hotstar', which is unavailable out of India. And only the votes made within the region will be counted. Any other apps available in the Play Store are not genuine and votes made through these apps will not be counted.

Meanwhile, any miss calls voting from an oversea number will not be counted; the VPN method does not work either - which means there are no legal ways to cast your votes.

So if you're living in Malaysia and looking for a way to cast your votes for your favourite Bigg Boss contestant, it's very unfortunate that you're unable to cast your votes in any way, unless you ask your friends in India to vote on your behalf.

But the good news is, Mugen has already gained huge followers in India, who's voting for him to ensure he remains in the game. Good luck Mugen!
