This Christmas, Astro customers can celebrate the festive season with an unplugged local Tamil concert, Anbendra Mazhaiyile featuring talented local artistes premiering on 25 December, 9pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (CH 201) via TV, Astro GO and On Demand.

Produced by Ratna Kumar Nadarajan from Mojo Projects Sdn Bhd and directed by Kumaran Ramasamy, this one and a half hour music special presents six vocal powerhouses: Datin Seri Manimala, M. S. Breetoe, Preetha Prasad, Aanantha Rajaram, Gayathri Thandapany and Amos Paul.

They will be belting out popular Christmas songs as wll as hit songs from movies in a mix of solo, duet and group performances, backed by a live band led by local music director, Lawrance Soosai.
