Astro customers can enjoy new local Tamil comedy series Appalasamy Apartment, premiering 22 February on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201), Astro GO and On Demand.

The 26-episode hilarious series is directed by renowned local filmmaker, Murali Abdullah (Fobia Malam Pertama, 2014) and stars talented local artists including S. Gana, Ramesh, Dato Shashasri, Tokoh Sathia, Kuben, Sureha Kutty, Chandhine Kaur, Deepasree Nair, and Subhasree.

Appalasamy Apartment is the debut Tamil series for director Murali Abdullah.

The series revolves around a community living in an apartment owned by philanthropist Appalasamy, who is a former estate worker that believes in putting people first.

The apartment is co-owned by his son, Aravindsamy and managed by Diamond Babu. One day, a summons is issued against the Appalasamy Apartment by the local authorities, following complaints of mismanagement.

Dissatisfied, Aravindsamy fires Diamond Babu and appoints a new manager, Roopavathy to solve the issues within six months to avoid further action by the authorities. Find out how the issues at Appalasamy Apartment get resolved.
