The actor who pledged to plant 1-crore trees through his Green Kalam initiative, managed to plant over 33 lakhs of trees in his lifetime.
Now following his unexpected demise, some of the actors plan to continue his legacy by planting trees.
Fellow comedian Karunas pledged to plant 3,000 today to honour the late actor. Meanwhile, actor Nakul plants a mango tree in memory of actor Vivek and named the tree Mangalam, a character Vivek played in the movie 'Boys' together with Nakul.
Artists such as Kamal Haasan and Raghava Lawrence also plans to continue the good deeds actor Vivek has left behind.
Besides them, many fans have come forward to assure Vivek's 1-crore saplings planting dream will be achieved.
