Silambarasan a.k.a STR is a popular Kollywood hero who has a huge fan base across the globe. Following Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's shocking announcement regarding leaving the India's OTT-based Bigg Boss Ultimate reality show, Simbu has been roped in as a replacement instead.

Actor Simbu who had a rough career for the past few years with never-ending controversies, made a rocking comeback in 2022 which turned fruitful. Besides returning with a revamped body image, the actor also gave a blockbuster hit film 'Maanaadu' which received rave reviews.

Now the actor is hosting Bigg Boss Ultimate till the end of the season 1 and will be appearing in five to six weekend episodes. It is speculated that the actor will receive a remuneration of Rs1 crore per day of shooting, and expected to receive around Rs5 to Rs6 crores by the end of the season.
