Actor Senthil is one of the famous comedians of Tamil cinema who's fondly remembered for his comedy tracks with another top comedian Goundamani. In recent times, the comedian has only been making guest appearances in films.

Recently, a fake account was created in his name on Twitter which reportedly spread rumours about the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and the government.

On 14 June, Senthil visited the Chennai Police Commissioner's office with his lawyer to make a complaint. He claimed that he doesn't have any social media presence and got to know about the fake account through his friends.

Senthil requested for action to be taken against the creators of the fake account. He also sought the immediate closure of the fake account.

While talking to the media, Senthil admitted that he minds his own business and such acts are causing him great distress.

"I have complained to the Cyber Cell and they have assured me that appropriate action would be taken," Senthil said.
