Veteran comedian Vadivelu is a famous face not only in Tamil Nadu but all over the world after the hashtag #PrayForNesamani based on his character 'Nesamani' from Friends went viral.

Many stand-up comedians and entertainers mimick Vadivelu and re-enact his famous scenes on-stage or on TV. Similarly, Vijay TV fame Balaji, popularly known as Vadivel Balaji because of his resemblance in voice modulation and body language with the veteran comedian.

His sudden demise on 10 Sept after weeks of treatment following a heart attack came as a shock to his fans and TV personalities. Vadivelu has now opened up about Balaji's death and admitted that he was shocked by the news since Balaji was very young, only 42 years old.

Vadivelu also said that he's a huge fan of Balaji and admired his performance. He offered his condolences on behalf of his 150 family members.
