The two seasons of Cooku with Comali gave many of its stars their big break and a huge fan following. Bala is one of the Comalis who's well-known for his spontenous comedy on the show. Rithika is a wildcard contestant who participated in the show.

Following the end of Cooku with Comali 2, Rithika was rumoured to be in love with Bala. Their chemistry on the show made its audience wonder if its real. The serial actress who starred in the hit show 'Raja Rani' opened up about the rumour in a LIVE session.
