Actor Ajith, fondly called as Thala Ajith by his loyal fans, is one of the most successful heroes of all time in Kollywood.

The actor first got the opportunity to play a hero in a Telugu movie titled 'Prema Phusthakam', however, the movie got slightly delayed after the movie's director died in an accident at the shooting spot.

Ajith's Kollywood debut movie 'Amaravathy' released first, becoming his first movie in his successful movie career.

3rd August marks the date the actor made his way into the industry, and it has been 28 years since we first saw him on-screen.
