Trisha Krishnan's career in the industry spans across two decades, and she's still the 'Kanavu Kanni' for many youths today. She's the one actress who continues to mesmerise us with every movie, every scene.

But it all started with her crowning moment at the Miss Chennai 1999 pageant. It was that day that gave her the breakthrough into cinema. The same year, she played a supporting role in 'Jodi' as actress Simran's friend. Later in 2002, she landed her first lead role in 'Mounam Pesiyadhe'. The rest is history.

Fondly remembering the day that changed her life, Trisha shared the moment, and it was revealed that she became Miss Chennai 1999, on 30 Sept that year.
