Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film 'Master' has soared up the anticipation of the star's fans ever since the first looks posters were released.

One of the biggest pull factors of the film is that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing screen space with Vijay for the very first time. While first look posters and songs launched have been going viral online, fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer release fo the film.

First scheduled to hit theaters in April, Master was pushed back indefinitely due to the global coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown announced in India.

While netizens were speculating that the film will be released on an OTT platform, Arun Das has revealed that 'Master' will see the theatre screens first.

The budding actor plays an important role in the film and spilled the beans about the film's trailer on Instagram while interacting with his fans.

According to Indian Express, the actor said, "I have watched the trailer around six times now, it’s marana mass. You are going to love it for sure. There is one dialogue by Vijay sir in the trailer which will make you go crazy."

"Master will definitely release in theaters first. I’m eagerly waiting to watch the 4 AM show along with fans. Only after the theatrical release, the film will go live on OTT," he added.

Thalapathy fans are thrilled with the trailer update and rumors are rife that it will be released on Vijay's birthday this year (June 22).

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action-thriller also stars Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, and many others.
