Atlee Kumar is a prominent director in Kollywood who made his debut with the multi-starrer 'Raja Rani' in 2013. The film gave the director his big break.

Soon, he was directing and releasing hit films like Theri, Mersal, and Bigil with Thalapathy Vijay. Despite facing plagiarism allegations, his films continued to soar at the box office upon release.

On the personal front, Atlee is married to actress Krishna Priya whom he met in 2009. The couple tied the knot in 2014 amid family and friends.
