Selvaraghavan is a well-known director who has his cult following for enriching the Tamil cinema industry with hits like Kadhal Kondein, 7G Rainbow Colony, Mayakkam Enna, Pudhupettai, and Aayirathil Oruvan.

In 2006, the director married actress Sonia Agarwal who worked with him in three films. But the couple filed for divorce only two years after the marriage.

Selvaraghavan went on to marry Gitanjali Raman, the daughter of a famous advocate in India and is blessed with a daughter and two sons.

In a recent live session with her social media followers, wife Gitanjali revealed her love story with the director. She was on a vacation with her husband and children. In the video, it was revealed that Gitanjali who came to work with Selvaraghavan in 2010, fell in love with him after reading his love story script. The script was later made into a film called 'Irandam Ulagam'.

In the casual live session, Gitanjali went on to interview Selvaraghavan while their children were playing in the background. It was heart-warming to see the family having a good time together.
