In an interview with the 'Deccan Chronicle,' Dulquer reminisced about how he met and married the beautiful Amal. It all started when he returned from his studies in the United States, and his parents were eager to get him hitched.
His friends and family decided that one of his classmates, who was five years his junior, would be the ideal match and started playing matchmakers. Coincidently, Dulquer crossed paths with Amal a few times.
He ran into her in the movies, where they watched the same film on the same show, and he even spotted her during some of his outings.
Dulquer saw it as a sign and gathered the courage to invite her out for coffee, and their families hit it off right away once he introduced them. It was described by Dulquer as a "love-cum-arranged marriage."
Last year, the couple celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary, and Dulquer has spoken about how important his wife is in his life and career in numerous interviews.
