Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were undoubtedly one of the most adored couples in South Indian cinema. Their love story and wedding seemed like it came straight out of a fairy tale. But to everyone's shock, the couple announced their mutual separation in October.

Following the split, the actress was subjected to online harassment as rumors blaming her for the breakup started making rounds. Surprisingly, Naga Chaitanya has maintained silence throughout the ordeal.

Samantha, on the other hand, came back stronger after a religious pilgrimage and a trip to Dubai. She started signing new films and continued to move on by deleting off her ex-husband's photos from her Instagram page.

Recently, Naga Chaitanya celebrated his 35th birthday on 23 Nov and Samantha didn't wish him on social media. Some fans, who are still hoping for a reconciliation, got disheartened and started making memes and comments that the actress should have conveyed birthday wishes to her ex-husband.

Other fans, however, respected her decision and came in support of her. According to Gulte, Samantha is currently vacationing in Goa and her fans believe that she 'hardly has time to bother such basic formalities and that too for a person who is her past.'

Some netizens also shared that the stars are both moving on, and there's no reason to make assumptions since the actress might have wished her ex-husband personally.
