The Bigg Boss Tamil S5 reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan is nearing its ending, and the grand finale of the show will be telecasted on 16 January 2022.

Actress Thamarai Selvi who refused to take the Rs12 lakh offer to leave the show, ended up leaving the show on the same week after getting the lowest votes from the viewers.

Now it is rumoured that the actress was paid Rs70,000 a week and has received a total of Rs980,000 (approx. RM55,000) for her 14-week participation on the show. Meanwhile, the actress is speculated to be joining the next season of Cooku With Comali.
