Nayanthara, the leading lady in Kollywood was once approached to play a small role in a blockbuster Bollywood movie.

The movie 'Chennai Express' supposed to mark the actress's Bollywood debut, even though she was just offered to dance for a song in the movie.

Nayanthara, however, did not feel comfortable playing the role because her ex-boyfriend Prabhu Deva worked as the choreographer in the movie.

Both Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva dated briefly before having a publicised break-up.

Thus, Nayanthara rejected the Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone movie, and Priya Mani played the role instead.
