Thalapathy Vijay is a world-renowned actor who's recent movies made it into the 100 crore club.

He is among the top heroes in the Kollywood industry and currently receives around Rs80 crore for his movies which makes him the second-highest-paid actor in the Tamil film industry.

However, it is now rumoured that the actor will be receiving Rs100 crore for his upcoming movie, which will put him in the top of the list.

Vijay who receives his salaries in crores now started his movie career as a child artist.

In his very first movie in 1984, the actor received Rs500 as his first pay. This information was revealed by Vijay's dad director SA Chandrasekhar in an interview.
