The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film 'Vikram,' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil, is unquestionably one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the year. The 'masterpiece' (as many of the trio's fans call it) hit the theatres on 3 June.

Along with the lead characters, Suriya (extended cameo), Arjun Das, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Shivani, Mynaa Nandhini, and Swathishta also play significant roles in the film. Lokesh Kanagaraj's fans believe that Vikram will be a part of the cinematic universe the director is reportedly creating and will feature many crossover elements with his previous critically-acclaimed film 'Kaithi,' starring Karthi.

Several reports have stated that Vikram celebs' salaries have been circulating in the media. Kamal Haasan's salary is estimated to be about Rs 50 crore, while Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil have received Rs. 10 crores (RM5,659,633) and Rs. 4 crores (RM2,263,971), respectively. Lokesh Kanagaraj, on the other hand, has been paid a remuneration of Rs. 8 crores (RM4,527,942), and music composer Anirudh's salary is Rs. 4 crores (RM2,263,971).

In the film, Kamal Haasan plays ex-government agent commander AK Vikram, Fahadh Faasil portrays undercover agent Amar, while Vijay Sethupathi takes the role of a wicked gangster Santhanam with a golden tooth. According to unofficial reports, the film has already generated Rs 200 crores (RM 113,191,970) in pre-sales before its release.
