Bigg Boss Kavin started out as a serial actor in the TV entertainment scene and his role as 'Vettaiyan' in the long-running Saravanan Meenatchi shot him to fame. Following his Tv success, he ventured into films and was the lead actor in 'Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma'.

However, the film's release was delayed and failed to launch him as a hero in Kollywood. Not wiling to give up, Kavin tried his luck in Bigg Boss 3. His fan base grew and Kavin Army was born.

From his love triangle with Losliya and Sakshi to his abrupt departure from the show after taking money from Bigg Boss, Bigg Boss Kavin had a rough ride in the Bigg Boss house.

After his exit, the star once again landed a film role in 'Lift' directed by Vineeth Varaprasad. The first look poster created waves online. But with India's COVID-19 lockdown, the film industry has stopped functioning altogether. Celebrities are engaging with their fans and sharing their stay-at-home activities on social media.

Bigg Boss Kavin recently shared one of the films he watched during the lockdown. He admitted to have cried endlessly after watching the South Korean film 'Miracle in Cell No. 7'. It revolves around a mentally-challenged father who has been sent to the prison by mistake and how his inmates help smuggle his daughter into the prison cell.
