Actress Shobana is an ever-gorgeous woman who debuted in cinema in the 80s.

The actress who started her movie career at the age of 10 became an established Bharathanatiyam dancer and was awarded the 'Padma Shri' title in 2006 for her immense contribution.

In a recent interview, the actress opened up about working on Mani Ratnam's blockbuster movie 'Thalapathi', in which she acted along with Rajinikanth, Mammooty and Arvindaswamy.

"I got so frustrated and cried during the shooting of the movie. I was only 20 years old and was away from my family for two months. I wanted to go home, but the shooting kept on delaying due to the other actors' busy schedule," she recalled.

When asked about working with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Siva', the actress revealed:

"We had a scene in the movie where Rajini had to hold my leg. But he refused to act in the scene and we had to convince him to play that part. I didn't understand then, but I received backlash from his fans after the movie was released. Only then I realised his intention to save me from going through such experience."
