Yesteryear actress Mohini first made her debut in the Tamil cinema via a 1991 film called 'Eeramana Rojave'. She went on to star in many successful films and a few serials.

In 1999, the actress got married to a businessman named Bharath and settled in the United States. They also have a son, Rudrakesh.

Recently, Mohini gave an interview after years of staying away from the limelight. The actress revealed that she was physically and mentally affected because of some incidents after her marriage.

"I didn't have the desire to love and even had suicidal thoughts," she said.
